Serafino Goose Island McLaren Vale Shiraz 2022 is a vibrant and polished expression of premium McLaren Vale Shiraz, crafted from estate-grown fruit sourced from Serafino’s renowned Malpas and Little Road vineyards. This expressive vintage undergoes fermentation in stainless steel and open fermenters before gentle pressing and nine months’ maturation in seasoned American (70%) and French (30%) oak hogsheads to retain fruit purity and balance.

Offering aromas of ripe dark plum and spice, the palate delivers generosity and structure in equal measure—juicy black fruit, subtle pepper, and a plush texture underpinned by fine, supple tannins that stretch out to a lingering finish. This is a Shiraz that punches well above its weight and embodies both finesse and approachability.

From a 5 Red Star Halliday-rated winery, the previous vintage earned 93 Points from Sam Kim of Wine Orbit and 90 Points from James Halliday, reinforcing Serafino’s consistency in producing outstanding regional Shiraz at unmatched value.
